This was a research studio delving into the health and wellness sector to seek ways to intervene into and within institutional healthcare facilities. Over the course of the semester we invested in imagining new ways to deliver healthcare and design better spaces to positively facilitate patient-doctor relationships within an array of institutions and at a variety of scales. We investigated how current healthcare systems work worldwide, visited medical spaces and meet with medical professionals and academics researching particular medical issues in order to discover spaces of potential for engagement.
